Mayor of
Katy, Texas declares May 2009 as
Motorcycle Safety & Awareness Month!
On
behalf of Adopt A Hero For Christmas and for all our fellow
motorcycle riders, we contacted the Katy Mayor's office and
requested the Mayor to issue a Proclamation declaring May,
2009 as
Motorcycle Safety & Awareness month.
Mayor Don Elder, Jr. issued the following proclamation at the
Katy City Council meeting on Monday April 27, 2009.
Click on the image or this
link to view the Proclamation (.pdf).

This proclamation
is an opportunity for us to stand together and
urge the people in our community to
become more aware of
motorcycle riders, and to give us the respect on the road we
deserve.
